    Introduction

When it comes to the production of technical fabrics, the possibilities are almost endless. Whether woven rovings made of glass or carbon, technical fabrics as coating carrier or for filtration, the production options are vast:

    • -Traditional mesh structures with leno weave technique
    • -Compact and closely woven fabrics with air-jet or rapier weaving machines
    • -Warp beam weaving and creel feeding possible

Glass fiber product solutions for the coating industry:

The coating industry is very diversified, which leads to a wide range of requirements for the products used in this sector. our technical textiles, produced from glass fiber , offer a wide range of applications in this area thanks to their individual raw material and coating variants. Such as fire blankets for metal welding and cutting or grinding, for EV car fire or home application;fire curtain or smoke curtains;fire bag for battery proection;induction blankets;heat shields;etc.

    Custom technical parameters

Fabrics made from glass fiber are used in a variety of ways in the coating industry.

The specific material properties of the coating carriers mean that the technical parameters of the coated fabrics, such as maximum tensile strength or elongation and shrinkage behavior, can be tailored perfectly to the intended application.

Custom raw material combinations and coating options

The coating industry field is very diversified, which leads to a wide range of requirements for the products used in this sector.

The manufacture of technical fabrics can be tailored just as individually. The yarns and rovings used are made of glass, aramid or Gualon, for example. If desired, another additional coating can be subsequently applied, for which silicone, acrylate, PTFE/Teflon, graphite, fluorocarbon, polyurethane as well as various fire- and flame-retardant materials are available.

Different coating material finished fiberglass Fabrics

These  fiberglass fabrics are widely used for thermal insulation, acoustic insulation, and for protection from heat and fire. These woven high temperature fabrics support operating temperatures up to 1000°F / 540°C and peak temperatures up to 1300°F / 700°C. This flame retardant fabric is made from inorganic materials so they will not produce hazardous out-gassing.

Enhances Ease of Handling and Fabrication

Glass fiber fabrics Heat Cleaned (HC)

Heat Cleaned fabrics are treated at high temperatures to remove broken filaments and manufacturing finishes like binders and lubricants. The process improves weave stability while reducing skin irritation and airborne fibers. Removing manufacturing finishes also reduces the amount of smoke the product will generate when exposed to extreme temperatures.

    Fabrication Treatment (FAB)

Fabrication Treatment is an acrylic coating applied to one side of the fabric. The treatment is designed to improve weave stability and abrasion resistance, prevent fraying and make the fabric easier to cut.

    Regular Treatment (RT)

Regular Treatment is a very light acrylic coating applied to improve weave set and reduce skin irritation. The Regular Treatment is a lighter coating than the Fabrication Treatment. It is applied to both sides of the fabric and resists temperatures up to 1000°F / 540°C. Regular Treatment does not impact the strength of a fabric.

    Oil and Water Resistance (OWR)

Oil & Water Resistance is a lightweight protective coating applied to fabrics to prevent wicking and to improve resistance to oil and water. It improves abrasion resistance and tolerates temperatures up to 1000°F / 540°C.

    Filtration fabrics of glass fiber

Glass fiber woven fabrics are widely used in different filtration application area

From reinforcements for filter media to custom technical textiles for solid/liquid separation, hot gas or particle filtration.

Since filter media are subjected to considerable daily wear, it is important to reinforce them sufficiently. we produces special support and protective fabrics that have the necessary strength and stability. Customized technical textiles for solid/liquid separation, hot gas or particle filtration can also be designed according to customer requirements.

Our glass fiber woven fabrics for filtration application have following advantages:

    -Strength and stability

    • For applications in wet filtration, where solid-liquid separation takes place, the filter medium used must be able to withstand the strong, continuous, and constantly fluctuating pressure forces which are sometimes at work.
    • By introducing a support and protective fabric in the form of a woven mesh fabric, the filter is given the necessary stability and strength to ensure a long service life.
    • In particle filtration (air purification), the glass or cotton mats used can also be additionally reinforced and protected by means of a woven mesh fabric. They have the advantage of being easy to handle so as to make assembly at the customer’s end as efficient as possible.

    -Excellent thermal and chemical resistance

    • During hot gas filtration in incinerators, the filter media is sometimes exposed to high temperatures or chemical vapors.
    • our filtration fabrics can be produced from various raw materials such as glass, polyester HT, aramid and other synthetic fiber materials and thus tailored to specific requirements.
    • Filtration fabrics made of glass fiber materials for solid/liquid separation, hot gas or particle filtration.
    • The materials are selected for the different fabric constructions in line with the desired filtration effect and resistance.
    • A wide range of filtration fabrics can be produced – from open supporting fabrics used in the production of needle-punched fleece for hot gas filtration to highly dense fabrics for solid/liquid separation.

    Application of glass fiber fabrics:

    • Pulse Jet / reverse air or shake cleaning
    • Refineries,Basic Power Generation,Large Utilities,Asphalt Production
    • Carbon Black Production,Co-Generation,Industrial Boilers

high silica fabrics for severe hot works

Silica Fabrics give superior protection from weld slag and sparks in hot work operations.

Satin Weave our high Silica Fabrics have different weave patterns, such as satin weave, broken twill weave, plain weave for relevant applications.

the amorphous Silica Fabrics are high temperature fabrics used in a wide range of insulation and protection applications such as welding curtains, welding blankets and welding pads. high Silica Fabrics have a minimum silicon dioxide content of 96% and can be fabricated into many forms to withstand temperatures up to 1800°F (982°C). our high Silica Fabrics are available with our standard proprietary surface treatment for improved handling and fray resistance. The Silica Fabrics are extensively used in the Power Generation (Nuclear Approved), Refineries, Shipbuilding and Repair, Metal Processing, Petro-Chemical, Aerospace and Automotive industries.

Our high silica fabrics also can be treated or coated with different materials, such as laminated aluminium foil, silicone, etc.,for different purposes.

    Heat treatment glass fiber fabrics

    Introduction

Manufactured using premium grade E-glass fiberglass fabric that has been heat treated prior to the application of a proprietary High Temperature (HT) treatment. Hard Tape HT fabrics can be used in continuous temperature applications up to 1200°F (649°C) while maintaining excellent pliability and moderate strength. Typically used in textile fabrication for removable covers and expansion joints.

HardTape Heat treatment  SATIN WEAVE FIBERGLASS FABRICS

HardTape HT Treated Satin Weave Fiberglass Fabrics are specialty fiberglass fabrics for continuous temperature applications. Using a special coating process, the fiberglass fabrics are treated with a proprietary inorganic treatment in order to extend the continuous temperature capability of the fabrics. Conventional fiberglass fabrics can only be used at continuous temperatures up to 800°F (427°C), our HT treated satin weave fiberglass fabrics can withstand continuous temperatures up to 1200°F (649°C) while maintaining good strength and flexibility. the HT treated satin weave fiberglass fabrics consistently outperform both standard fiberglass and other so-called “treated” fiberglass fabrics in elevated continuous temperature applications.

    Applications

HardTape HT Fiberglass fabrics are used to manufacture high temperature textile products for industrial applications. the HT fiberglass fabrics are typically used in dynamic conditions where textile products are flexing and moving in high temperature conditions. Typical uses are expansion joints, tube seals, removable insulation covers, and exhaust applications.
